Improved 4G battery life since OTA

Just my observation. Before the OTA update, I kept it in 3G unless plugged in for WiFi, due to battery drain issues. Since the recent OTA update, I've been leaving it in 4G more and more.

Everything is relative. Still seems a battery sucking demon to me that is only practical if plugged in to USB or a wall, unless only away from charge for a few hours.

The data drops and bad 4g 3g hands offs are just as bad, if not worse.

I agree with Rushmore nothing any better if anything worse

The OTA was supposed to improve battery life and 4G performance.

I do not understand why people are getting different results. Maybe it is location related or software installed.

I am definitely getting equal to better battery life after the update. I leave 4g on all of the time. I easily get the same or better battery life as I did with my Incredible.

As far as data ... I no longer have any issues switching between 4g and 3g.

So for me ... the update is better.
