In app purchasing - enable

I'm having issues with any app that involves in app purchasing, when I try to do this action I get an error or it just doesn't work. I have purchased apps and in app purchases before but now it wont work. Im signed in on my google play account and my internet connection is fine. Do I just have in app purchasing disabled or is there another reason?
