Help In-call sound EQ settings missing

I have a stock S3 GT-I9300 running Android 4.1.2, carrier is O2 in the UK.

From looking at guides on the web it would appear there is normally an "In-call sound EQ settings" option in the "Call settings" menu. However I don't have this entry listed in the menu. Does anyone know why this would be or how I could get it to appear? Thanks!

I'm also having this issue. I was able to do it a couple weeks ago, but now it's gone. Anyone else have this problem?

--edit--
I just discovered that once it's been done, the "In-call sound EQ settings" option disappears. It can be accessed through a different method from Call Settings, tap on "My call sound", tap on "Personalize call sound", then tap "restart" on the bottom to run the EQ personalization again.
