In desperation, PLEASE

I have stayed up till three in the morning for two weeks straight trying to figure out file names, converters, winzip, winrar, reach arounds, twinkies .......


I cannot get my evo to read my roms. getting to the point that I want to break my laptop and my evo into 3 billion pieces and FART on it.

I download the rom , extract it with either (both) winzip and winrar and I continually get the same results.....

files that my phone will not read .....

.IMG (most common makes me want to rip my face off thinking about it) , .rar,.zip .....


Im begging for some help. Shit is going to put me in the looney bin if it hasnt drove me looney already.
 
Woah, what? You don't extract your ROMs, bud. You download them as they are and simply move them to the SD card and flash them in recovery.

Have you followed the tutorials? I dunno if you used the one-click root for the EVO, but you'll need to find a ROM flashing tutorial to help you out. Although it's pretty simple.

Download "Rom Manager" from the Market. It should be a free app. Once you're rooted, this app should send you on your way.

Oh and make sure you have the hboot bios as well
 
I have gave the following games hardcore attempts : tony hawk s pro skater 2 and 3 , syphon filter , cool boarders, gran turismo and lastly crash bandicoot warped.

Did I mention I hate asking for help ?
 
do you have the unecm programme? you need this to transfer the files you un-zip into a file format that the emulator will recognise. you simply drag the unzipped img.ecm file onto the unecm programme launcher icon (which i have on my desktop for ease of access) and it will automatically transfer it. Then put the new file that appears onto your phone, and it should work.

img files do work, ive got them on my phone and they work fine.

thats pretty much the only help i can offer though, because thats the problem i had. but once i'd figured out the unecm bit of it, then it was all working fine, apart from roms that don't actually work. syphon filter being one of those actually.
 
please help me.. i got my samsung galaxy s yesterday then when i was trying to connect it with wifi, i receive messages like it failed to sync to google account.

do i have to sync it with my gmail?please help..i cant access wifi..
 
on my droid i have to download the roms on pc and then transfer them to my phone. I usually download from emuparadise.
