Help In dire need of help.

I have a Samsung Exhibit II 4G. I've been trying to root my phone but it isn't working

I downloaded and extracted the Zergrush file and ran it but it's stuck on the "waiting for device" phase. I don't know what to do. I'm kinda new to rooting. Could anyone help me please? I read a few threads but I don't see any that is telling me exactly what to do if it is stuck on the waiting for device step.

I'd much appreciate it.
