Help In Pocket Problems

My note 4 doesnt have a case and I have a swipe pattern to unlock my phone. If im walking the dogs or in the grocery store and my phone is in my pocket..pants, jeans, or gym shorts. I either end up calling 911 or the swipe password falls multiple times locking my phone for a couple of minutes...how can i fix this? without the pattern it was calling people and sending random text messages.

Bump. Would like to see some input on this. When I'm working I get sweaty and my phone is in my pocket screen side against my leg, does all kinds of crazy stuff too.

Why not change it from swipe unlock, say to pin. Phil

I have a case and a screen protector on I think the pin lock gives the same access to emergency calling too right?

Screen in is the safest way I can't change that in my line of work.
