IN UK, why can't I buy apps

Hi,

I got an HTC hero 4 days ago. I can access the Android Market and install free applications, but a 'server error' happens when I try to submit credit card details to pay for a non-free application.

Any suggestions??

Im the same mate. It doesnt let me. Its so annoying and there is no support from HTC or Orange about this

How did you sort this? I want to buy CoPilot Live but can't register, it gives a server error. My brother has managed it on his Orange Hero though.

ETA - the way around it is to register with Google Checkout on your PC and it skips the CC bit on the phone. See here:

It's still a bodge though, shouldn't have to do this
