Help Inbox for one Google account, Gmail for the other?

I have two main Gmail accounts and am using Inbox by Gmail for my primary. I'd like to set Gmail up to only check email for my secondary. Anyone know how to do that? I looked in Accounts, but don't see a way.

I managed to do it once before when I was experimenting with a different ROM but can't recall how I did it.

Hi, two ways to do it : -

1) Go into Settings - Accounts & sync - Google, long press on the account and untick Gmail in the list.

2) Go into your Gmail app - into settings of the particular account and untick 'Sync Gmail' in 'Data usage'.
