Incoming calls bypass lock screen?

RevMike

Hi
Android newby, so maybe missing something obvious.

Is there a way of configuring my HTC so that an incoming call bypasses the lock screen, ie all I have to do to answer the call is press the 'Answer' button, rather than swipe the screen first?
Or is there an app for this?

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere - couldn't find it!

Android 2.3.3 - HTC Wildfire S

Thanks
Mike

I don't have a complete answer, but I do have a shortcut.

You can answer the phone simply by swiping the phone icon into the "lock ring". That's a lot easier than pulling the ring , THEN pushing the answer button.

Hi
Thanks for the suggestion - but I don't have a phone icon on my screen when the phone is 'woken up' by an incoming call.

My phone is the HTC Sensation 4G.

I took a closer look on mine. I drag the "Answer" button into the "lock ring" to answer the phone when it is ringing.

I've got a Sensation and I really don't like the phone-answer bit. What's wrong with two buttons 'Reject' and 'Answer' (like my old Desire and Desire S) instead of dragging icons round? I wish I could change it.
