incompatable application

Hi all,new to this forum and need help.My brother gave me his orange sanfrancisco but it doesnt work.He downloaded an app called iphoneLocker and now we cant acces the menu.It says the app is not responding and gives the option to close or wait.It doesnt matter which you choose it goes to a blank screen.The screen locks itself and shows the wallpaper but once uyou swipe it the blank screen returns.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks for looking
 
Can you get to the phones recovery menu by holding down volume whilst powering on?

If that app keeps Force closing, you may need to do a factory reset. :(
 
Yes i can but nothing happens.I have inserted my sim and it will sometimes pick up my wireless network or let me read contacts but thats it
 
You can't even open the apps menu or the market without the FC happening? I'll be honest and say that it doesn't look good.

Do you know if USB Debugging was enabled at all?
 
i dont know mate.Its a shame as my brother said it wasnt a bad phone so i was going to give it to the missus as hers is playing up
 
Hi mate,just to let u no i sorted it.Because the phone would still receive calls i rang it to access my missed calls list.From here i got to my key pad and went to change keypad theme which got me to the android market and from there i uninstalled all the apps he downloaded.The apps where go locker and it now seems to be working fine.Im really pleased with myself seeing how im not a technical wizz
