Help inconsistant sync outlook active sync to calendar app, Note 4

I am new to Android, I just escaped the dark side (I stuff).. I have a Note 4 with lolipop 5.01. I use my phone for work and sync with our companies outlook server.
I have a real strange problem, part of my appointments come through on the right day, part come through a day before they are supposed to. Needless to say this is a problem. I cannot trust the clander app. I have tried turning the app off, cleaning the cache, clearing all info and starting again,, same result.
I finally downloaded outlook, it syncs fine but I would rather not use it as you have to drill down to get to the calendar, which is inconvenient.
Any suggestions?

OK. I have discovered that for some reason part of my calendar items think they are in South Korea for some reason I have checked location settings in both settings and the calendar and can't find any mention. Of South Korea. Everything says it is in Mtn. Time zone. Any suggestions??
