Increase font size on gmail and email app?

I've been using K9 for a while for my Gmail and Work email. However, it seems to be rather spotty with reliably working. Example, today on my work's wifi it magically stopped working. I'm using my accounts with imap. However, "email" (the default email app) using imap still continued to work fine, as did the stock gmail app for my actual gmail account.

That said, I think I'm going to look for another email app that works a little better for my needs. The one thing I grown attached to was the fact I can bump up font size. Is there a way to do this in the stock email or gmail app?

Also, is there a way to adjust the stock email and gmail app to save messages to my SD card instead of internally?

Lastly, if there's no possibilities of those two apps doing the two things I requested above, is there any other applications out there like K9 to do the job I'm looking for?

Thanks guys.

K9 has 5 font sizes for 4 different areas in the app. Also saves to SD. Also you can set download size (so if there attachments they won't download unless you want them).

I appreciate your input, but as I noted earlier k9 has been troublesome for me. Any other suggestions?

EDIT - maybe K9 just didn't like the network I was on? I noticed that these issues were when I was using work's wifi. Once I left and turned off wifi and hit the towers emails rolled in.

I don't get it, though. Imap is wide open. But why did K9 not work when the other app did??

Further homework revealed the network I was on only allowed web traffic (port 80) and nothing else. That's why my email was tanking since it didn't have any of the IMAP ports open.

Anyway, guess I can't blame K9! We're good to go. Guess I was just looking in the wrong place.
