Incredible 2 Calibration Issue

I have an HTC Incredible 2 on Verizon. The bottom half of my screen, in portrait position, is "dead". I can't select anything in this area, including phone and other things. I can't seem to run the calibration tool because the prompt to launch calibration is located at the bottom, "dead" part of my screen. Any ideas?

It sounds like a hardware issue you may not be able to fix on your own.
