incredible 2 dead, what phone next?

My 3 year old HTC Incredible 2 died, please recommend a new phone.

Here is what I didn't like about my incredible 2:
-The headset jack never worked well with most standard headsets. Even on the headsets where the microphone actually worked on, the buttons (on/off, forward/back, volume) won't work. I use a headset constantly and don't like bluetooth so this is important.
-Comes with all kinds of crappy apps that can't be removed

What I did like:
-Size is good. When I put in the extended battery it was a hair big but not bad. Screen is great.
-Android OS
-I can replace the battery myself and bring an extra. The extended battery option was really awesome.
-camera

Basically I would like an Incredible 2 with a headset/earphone jack that works and responds to all the buttons. What do you guys recommend?

My uncle just got himself a Droid Incredible 4G LTE. No complaints from him so far. He just upgraded from the OG Incredible a few weeks ago so he got his phone for free. The Droid Razr M is another good alternative but unlike most other Motorola phones, the radio isn't as powerful. Still, a very durable phone for its size and a good choice if you like the UI. The biggest downfall is that the Razr M has no replaceable battery.
