Help Indicator Light Questions

Hello all.

When my S5 was charging the indicator light would stay red. Once it was done it would go blue. I am not getting this with my S6. Is there a setting change I could make to get this?

Also, when I get a new email on my Gmail account the blue light blinks. I want to get rid of this but so far the only thing I have been able to do is completely turn off the notifications. I still want the little envelope in the top left corner of the screen, just no blinking lights. Can someone assist me with this also?

That's weird, my LED shows red while charging and Green when done.

The funny thing is after I created this thread the red light came on while the phone was sitting on the pad. I thought maybe I was mistaken.

Sure enough, put it on the pad that past few days and no light.

The red indicator light comes on randomly and rarely when charging the phone. I charge it wireslessly in case that makes a difference.

I would still LOVE to know how to disable the blue flashing light when I get a new email on Gmail.
