inew i2000 - screen not working/phone won't turn on

I just got an iNew i2000 today. A really nice looking phone that working perfectly for about an hour before the screen stopped responding while I was installing some apps.

I tried flashing an official rom from inewphone's website, and followed instructions I found Armtvtech. I followed the instructions line by line and it seemed as if it had worked ok. I disconnected the phone and since then it won't even turn on!

Any ideas anyone?
