I hope someone might be able to help here. I had this same app with the name "Quran Majeed" in iPhone where it worked perfectly fine and I got notified when about the prayer timings even if the screen was black/sleeping/Doze or WIFI wasn't connected. My parents have this same app currently in their Huawei and Samsung phones (both running on ANDROID) and it works fine.
But in my Infinix Note 4 (ANDROID NOUGAT), the app only and only works either within few minutes of screen lock (before going into DOZE mode) or when the screen wakes up after a long time e.g. even when the time for certain prayer alert has passed, I only get its notification when I get some call/sms which wakes up the screen.
It's not the issue with this app as I've tried so so so many other prayer alert apps.
The app is not in the list of Battery Optimization either and has 5 rating for notification as well. I've tried so many other options but in vain.
Can anyone help in sorting out the problem?
