So, I thought this could be useful-
I was reverting my phone to stock to make a warranty claim. (I had previously been running Broken Out 2.0). I reflashed a backup of the stock ROM I had and ran updates. But when I boot into recovery, there is a "rooted" option. And when clicked, it says "this device has been rooted."
So, my solution was to reflash mtmichaelson's stock recovery- which is apparently an older version and does not have that "feature." It works, but if the Verizon people run updates they will be able to tell if a Breakout has been rooted through recovery
