Innovation vs. Natural Progression

Just my 2 cents ...

One of the issues I have with tech companies is when they use the word 'innovation' when they are really following natural progression.

Going from a 100GB HDD to a 4TB HDD is not innovation, changing a screen size is not innovation, putting a virtual keyboard on a touch screen is not innovation, icons on a homescreen is not innovation, longer battery life is not innovation, using a voice activated search system is not innovation. These are all examples of natural progression.

A Swype type keyboard system, pull-down notification bar/menu, and an app drawer ARE innovation.

Good to know.

So making the first 3d phone would have been .............. inovation

Innovative, prolly yes.

Worth owning or real world usable on a cellular platform, debatable.

edit: Personally I have no interest in a 3D television, I do not see it really being worth the hassle. If I would not buy a 3D TV, well ... a 3D phone seems pointless to me.
