Input problem on Samsung Galaxy Ace duos S6802 while texting

Hi guys i'm using Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos S6802 for a few months now and it has been working perfect but lately I am having problem with it while i'm texting messages. Sometimes when I get a new message and when i'm trying to reply back to it the onscreen keyboard pops up and when i hit on the words it does not get registered. In order to type the words in I have to exit the Messaging 3-4 times and clear the Ram memory to make it work properly. This is quite frustration. Please help...:(

You might fix it by clearing data and cache for the Messaging and Keyboard apps. Settings -> Applications -> Manage applications -> Messaging/Keyboard. There you'll find "clear data" and "clear cache" buttons.

Another option would be to try alternative messaging and keyboard apps. Popular messaging apps include Handcent and Go SMS.
