inquiry about acer a500

hello to everyone,
i am in saudi arabia and just recently bought acer iconia a500, can anyone help me i am having trouble connecting to the internet,i tried connecting with other connection and it is successful, i am able to connect via wifi and internet works instantly. but if i am connecting it to my own connection wifi connected but no internet.. pls... pls help

Hello and welcome to Android Forums. Are you positive your wifi is connected to the internet? You might try testing your router with another device. As long as your Iconia successfully connects to your router and your router to the net... you should be good to go.
