how do i take the back off of an android 4.1.1

model number: GT-193000
 
Welcome to the guest questions forum.

Your Samsung Galaxy S3 comes with a plastic molded back cover. At the top of the phone is a small slot between the cover and the front screen. You should be able to use your finger nail to pry up this back cover. It has molded clips, so it will be a little tight. Just keep pulling, and the whole back should come off, exposing the battery, SIM card slot, and SD card slot.
