inspire locked to net 10

inspire set for net 10. reset with power and vol. apn now changed and locked.can not get to unlock screen.have taped twice on locked bar.no good.have used odd sim no good.any hope. att is checking. so for nothing toost? thanks

Simply changing the APN setup to Net10 on an AT&T phone won't do anything, as all AT&T phones are carrier locked. You need to purchase an unlock code, which is specific to your IMEA#. THe IMEA can be obtained by dialing *#06#, or you can remove the battery (by the volume button) and it will be visible on a tag there. Once you have the unlock code, powering up with a foreign SIM card inserted will prompt you for the unlock code. Enter it, and DONE.
