Instagram rolled out a new update recently and while it didn't mention these features in the Android change log, some were included in the iOS one.
It's currently in beta, but users can now zoom by sliding a finger up/down while watching a video. The Android app could also get the ability to switch from the rear and front cameras by double tapping on the screen.
