Instagram Issue

I have a problem with my SD card. It is not recognized only when using Instagram. I tried reformatting it, unmounting it remounting it. Nothing seems to work. Before I reformatted it, I was unable to take pictures at all. After that the phone was allowing pictures but when using instagram it asked that I insert SD card first. Then I unmounted and remounted, and now it only says SD card is full when using instagram. Anyone have any ideas?

Are you sure it's just Instagram that cannot access it? I know some phones you have to give some applications access to your files.

It's only once you open Instagram and click on the camera button, to add a picture right? I had this same problem. It just means the Instagram camera isn't compatible with your phone. To fix this problem follow these steps:

Open Instagram:

1) Click on your profile icon in the bottom right (the one that looks like a contact ID card).

2) Click on the menu button in the top right (the one that has three square dots stacked on top of each other).

3) In the list of options, click on "Camera Settings"

4) Uncheck the box for "Use Instagram's Advanced Camera."

5) Return to your Instagram homescreen, click the camera button and select your camera or gallery- whichever you'd like to add pictures from!!

Hope this helps you, it took me a second to figure out!!
