Instagram reading incorrect folder

Hi all,
On my Wileyfox Swift 2 + Instagram is playing up.
When I try to post "gallery" is showing "whatsapp images" and not the camera gallery.
When I go to gallery on the phone I now have 2 folders named "camera" There also seems to be no way to select storage location in the camera settings.

This all seems to be since a software update a few days ago.
Is there a fix? Or do I need to roll back? If so how?

Thanks

I'm thinking its a camera issue. It has created a second "camera" folder. If I explore the sd card / dcim / camera, all pics are there. If I go to gallery app / albums there are 2 "camera" folders.
If I go to settings / storage / sd card / images there are 2 "camera" folders.
I have deleted the second camera folder but every time I take a pic it creates the folder again and stores subsequent pics here.
If i try to post on instagram app "gallery" folder is showing whatsapp images and "camera" folder shows all but the timeline is messed up.
I have rebooted several times and re installed instagram. Still the same
Ideas?

Looking at details on the image files, new pics are stored at sdcard/DCIM/Camera
previous pics were stored at /storage/emulated/0/DCIM/Camera
