install apps

[Android Question]

I have a Samsung galaxy nexus, haven't downloaded apps in a while. went to do one today and forgot how to do it....my daughter uses a droid and you do it through google play which I don't have on mine...can anyone assist?

The Google Play app has been renamed to Play Store. Have you tried looking under P in your app list?

Also, if you perform a search on Google in your internet browser for an app, click the link, and it should ask you if you want to open it with either the internet or the Play Store. Choose the Play Store.
