Root Install custom rom from stock 4.0.4

Hello, I am trying to install a custom 4.4 rom on my VS920. I have used the pwnage tool and have root access with an unlocked boot loader. CWM doesn't work, on reboot it locks on LG invalid security/ enter fast boot/ long time no see screen. Pulled battery and rebooted phone. No issues. What app do I need to use to flash a custom rom, and what gapps package should go with it once flashed?

HI, I am no expert, but when you ran the PWNAGE tool, did you do it twice? The first time roots the phone, and the second time it installs CWM. I just used it myself a few days ago. Remember when you run the tool, to do a TAR type backup when you are done and CWM is installed. Then, if there is a problem with the custom rom you want to flash, you can always restore back to where you started. GOOD LUCK!
