Help "Installation of 'Google Search' Unsuccessful"

Why am I unable to update Google Search on my Droid 2?

For me, the update wasn't listed under Downloads. I had to manually search for it to install it. It didn't say it overwrote anything, but it installed fine.

yea i had to find it too. but it just wont install. ive tried and tried but every time its unsuccessful! :'(

Does it give you an error? It worked for me.

yea it says: installation error package file was not signed correctly.

I would say try getting the apk online and installing, I just don't know where you would get it.
