Help Installing a new SD card to Motorola phone

Hi there

I use a Moto E mobile phone. About 3 months old now. When I bought it, I fitted a 16GB SD card for extra storage. This is filling up much quicker than I expected to the point where it is almost full. I have removed a few files to save about 0.5GB but I need to fit a larger card. I have bought a 64GB card to replace the existing one.

However some of my apps are installed on the existing card and photos and files. Can i copy all the data from the old card to the new one or do i have to re-install everything again. i have a PC that I could use to do a copy and paste job.

You can certainly try it. I know the photos and files will copy over, I'm just not sure about the apps. Make sure you copy all hidden files and folders too. If that fails, move your apps to the phone, and then move them back to the new SD card when you've inserted it.
