Help Installing Android on my ATT FUZE

I have been reading instructions on how to install Android to my HTC Fuze. The link here: http://diamondlog.blogspot.com/2008/07/android-running-on-htc-touch-dual.html
makes it look pretty easy. My question is that website has a link for what I'm sure is a much older version of Android. How do I get the newest version?

my question is why? Many other devices dont have the hardware to use current apps and if it dose then that article says that it dosent even work right. That version looks like what they had as an early prototype

Why would you buy a Fuze if you wanted Android? Same phone with a bit more RAM (only necessary because of WM), no capacitive screen, no compass... If you want Android, return your Fuze, get $300 back and pay $368 for a G1 with no contract. Or, just buy this:

Maybe because the fuze actually has a decent display, battery, proc, and Radio. Just because its linux doesn't mean its going to run in 128k of RAM. Android will be doomed by fools with this same mentality. Look at Mitsubishi. They were top of thier game in 99, and all it took was selling cheap and putting all these cool little trinkets in them to kill the market share. Now they're bloated cheaply made vehicles. Android has the ability to succeed, but until the hardware they're running on can compete with the hardware Windows Mobile and Apple are using, Android is just another Symbian.
