Installing apps on SD Card

Hi All,

I have the HTC Desire HD and when I try to download an app and install direct on SD card it fails telling me 'couldn't install on usb storage or sd card'. I looked at the phones log and found:

Any Ideas??

Can you first install on internal storage and then move the app to SD card?
