Are you on at&t? If so you cannot load non-market apps without using the Sideload Wonder Machine.I have been trying to install the swype app. Once it downloads it tells me I can't install because my phone security will not allow non market apps to be installed. I went to the security settings but can not find a setting for this. Can anyone help? Thanks
This is how i install .apk files i downloaded atro file manager from the market then i download the .apk that you want to your pc connect the phone drop the .apk file into the phones file then go into the phone go into astro scroll down and select the .apk file then select open app manager then hit install. Thanks for the replies. Yes I am on at&t and imagine that at&t not letting you do something with a phone you paid for. I had found the side loader program and figured it was the only way but was hoping there would be an easier way.

Or maybe you already have it installed?
Well check it out maybe all the tweaks youve done hes done to his the specs are hereThanks, I was thinking about it but right now I have a generic ROM and farther tweaked it by eliminating the Sony bloatware that I safely could. It is running very well so maybe I hold of for a bit.
