I have been trying to install the swype app. Once it downloads it tells me I can't install because my phone security will not allow non market apps to be installed. I went to the security settings but can not find a setting for this. Can anyone help? Thanks

Are you on at&t? If so you cannot load non-market apps without using the Sideload Wonder Machine.

Thanks for the replies. Yes I am on at&t and imagine that at&t not letting you do something with a phone you paid for. I had found the side loader program and figured it was the only way but was hoping there would be an easier way.

I didn't think this method could be used with at&t ROM!

lol, ok then I will tell you it didn't work when I had the at&t ROM. For the record I am not switching back either. ;)

Thanks, I was thinking about it but right now I have a generic ROM and farther tweaked it by eliminating the Sony bloatware that I safely could. It is running very well so maybe I hold of for a bit.

Then again, I may change my mind. :D
