Can you block that number from your text messaging app?

I'm not sure? But I've tried asking the company where I bought the sim card, no such thing that they know, even when I do my device settings through the sim card it's unknown,... so;;...
I suppose depending on your device/carrier and the text messaging app, in the app itself, there may be a setting to block the number.
Go into your messaging app, long press on the message, and a popup should come up with an option to block the number?
