Help insufficient space on device

I have a ZTE Solar model Z795G android version 4.1.2 and I have plenty of storage and a SD cars but am getting this error. I already tried deleting Google play services. Bad temporary fix. Please help with a simple permanent solution.

I'm assuming that you get the "insufficient space" error when trying to install an application? If so, what app is it?

And I know you say that you have plenty of storage, but could you perhaps provide a screenshot of your storage usage? (I believe that is at Settings > Storage). Anything you can provide to help us help you would be, well, helpful.

Do you have root? If so there are a few apps that sometimes fix the problem. One is called InsuFixer.

I have the same problem with my phone. I was trying to download keyboard app, skype and fb messenger (theyre 18 MB and above).
it says in my storage:
Internal Storage
total space: 112 MB
apps(app data...): 195 MB
SD card
total space: 3.76 GB
available: 3.76 GB
apps: 44.79 MB
pictures, videos:232 kb
misc. : 22.59
Phone Storage
total space: 17.84 MB
available: 17.64 MB

How much RAM is your phone? I have that problem on my s2 and I have to clear cache to clear up RAM. Go to settings, then applications the go to your browser for example and clear its cache. Should work for you
