Help insufficient space

zte z990g message is "insufficient space on device" even when trying to install a 4+Mb app. Have SD available space of 14.83 Gb and internal of 16.64 Gb. HELP.
 
I would like someone here please to give me a wonderful reason NOT to crush this absolutely useless piece of garbage called a phone. It literally sucks in every facit. It seems to be nothing more than a childs toy?? I have an external card (16g) and have moved stuff over to it but it can't even handle running facebook without freezing, glitching or shutting down.....absolute shite!!
