Insurance contents inventory app

Hi All.

Just wondering if anyone knows of a good contents inventory app for insurance?
I want to take inventory of all my belongings in case it's ever needed.
Wanting something that will add a photo/purchase price and place and so on.

What about a simple spreadsheet? Insurance companies will most likely prefer this over some android specific proprietary format...
