Start a claim. I used the assurion site I believe. Should be linked on metros site. This phone costs 130 I think. Might be better off saying the phone is lost depending on how it broke.

No prob moved to the right section and yes confed is correct a $130 deductible will be charged. and no they don't cover broken display. Only lost or bricked phones or such phones that have a faulty function such as volume control don't work or soft keys light wont work such things.

I have exchanged like three phones with them that had cracked displays

well i spoke with them and they specifically told me they dont cover display damage nor water damage devices. now if u did a claim for something else and did not mention the display i would imagine it would be too late for them to turn around and say "no sir please send us back the replacement since u forgot to mention the cracked display"......

MetroGUARD protects your phone from loss, theft, damage (even water damage) and malfunction after manufacturer’s warranty has ended.
Now, with the Metro Total Protection app, MetroGUARD subscribers will be able to locate and lock your phone, sound an alarm, or wipe your contacts.

Interesting.

I went and read the 'showance TOS. What a freekin' mess. Classic Metro and frankly it pisses me off. Just more senseless Metro BS like the rebate delay that makes no damn sense and does nothing but PO the consumer.

The TOS is 110% legalese dog squeeze.

As best I can tell, there are parts that LEGALLY say they don't have to cover anything for Any Thing. (Honestly only a very slight exaggeration.)

What it IS though is a legal Fallout Shelter. Where, If They Have To they can point to one ambiguous clause and say, "See, we don't cover that". **What's on the TOS may or may NOT be what their day to day practice is.**

There IS a clause that says they don't cover Abuse. I could easily see them saying with a straight face, "Dropping the phone <and cracking the screen> is NOT an Intended Use and that's all we cover."

So, the actual warranty paperwork so far as I can tell is useless to us to figure out what they do In Real Life.

I got insurance on my phone, and they covered it. I told them my phones screen cracked. Had to pay $130.
