interconnecting android emulators with WIFI

No. You can only do with it what you can do with android. It emulates android, therefore it is android. Well, less really

I'm not sure about what the interconnect part means but you can run adb over a LAN I think. The emulator can connect to the internet but it goes through some proxy loopback ip. Like 10.0.0.1 or something. So if you wanted an emulator to accept incoming connections you'd have to forward the port to the emulator IP with something like putty. Mind you, I have never done any of this just thinking out loud.
