Android Expert
Yesterday I met with a friend who works for Sony Ericsson in a fairly sensitive position. I asked for his opinions on Android and he smiled. This might be old news around here, but according to him Sony Ericsson is moving away from most other platforms and adopting android as their primary smart-phone operating system. IIRC he said that they expect their business to be made up roughly of 60%-70% Android powered phones, with the balance being split roughly evenly between Windows Phone 7 and Symbian.
He also didn't have very nice things to say about some of the hardware used in the current I-phones and some of the claims Apple is trying to make in their lawsuit against HTC.
I tried to get asking for specific product info, but on that he wasn't talking. Oh well, can't win them all I guess. That's another major manufacturer embracing Android.
