interference coming through phone

[Android Question]

I have the Motorola Milestone X2. At times my phone, not the headset or the car, is picking up static, the sounds of a phone ringing and someone talking, all this while I'm talking to my party. This has happened twice now and today I was unable to carry on my conversation at all.

Sometimes, interference comes depending on your location. Also, it could be on the other end of your phone. Cellular technology isn't perfect. Sometimes you just have to hang up and call back.

If it gets to be a real problem even after calling back, you could have a defective handset. In that case, you would have to contact your carrier's customer service.
