How can I make an internal search for files in Android 4.2.2?

We need more info on this one. What type of files are you trying to search for? What is your phone model and provider?

Hello, and welcome to the Android Forums 
. In order to do an internal search of files (games, apps, contacts, etc.) then you should be able to able to tap on the google search bar at the topish of your screen or if you don't see that then you can go into your apps and find "google" you can use this app to search your device for contacts, apps, music, etc as well as search the web . Hope this helps out!
