Help Internal Sound Not Working

The sound doesn't work during phone calls or when I listen to music with headphones.
It does work if I have calls on speaker phone or am playing music without headphones.
What can I do?

Early on with this device, doing the following helped with low sound volume. May be worth a shot and following this exactly, will not cause you to lose any data / information:

1. Turn off fast-boot first, if it is enabled in the settings under Power
2. Power off phone
3. Hold down the power and volume down buttons at the same time until you're in hboot
4. Go down to the recovery option using volume down to choose and power to select
5. You will reach a screen with a warning type symbol
6. Quickly press and release the volume up and power at the same time to get into recovery
7. Go down and select wipe cache partition using the power button
8. Use the power button to then select “reboot phone”
