International calls - opinions, help, suggestions?

I'm about a week away from inheriting a MyTouch 3G, and looking for any help I can get in terms of finding an app that will allow me to make international calls (Skype, or something comparable...and free is best). I've had to settle for SMS until now, and even that gets pricey after a bit.

Learn about SIP and save your money. All these programs are acting as middlemen and making a profit off of you, I use SIPDROID and Gizmo5 to call the USA from Vietnam over WiFi at 1 cents a minute. Most Sip outcalls to the USA is 1.5 to 2 cents a minute. Gizmo5 was bought by Google and is now closed.
