Cfroot kernels have always been stable since first using them on my gs2. The kernel is basically a slightly modified stock kernel so it will replace your existing one. No data will be lost on your phone as nothing gets wiped out formatted.

Will this work with branded phones? Just got mine today on 3 and on my Desire HD I needed a goldcard before I could root it

Yeah it will work on all branded and unbranded gti9300's and gti9300T's

Yeah I just couldn't resist the gs3 for half price after trading in my gs2. I'm still active in the gs2 forum when I get the time so I'll still see you around
