i have rooted phone with cyanogenmod 10.1 running on it . based on 4.2

but there are nightly builds .

last time i updated i had too manually go into play store and redownload all my apps again .

even though i have titanium pro . i tired back up all apps and then once it had updated the nightly i tried to restore but they all failed .

so whats easiest method to update the nightlys and restore all my apps using titanium pro .

i want to update but the thought of downloading all those apps again just puts me off .

Unless you're changing ROM, if you have CM and want to install a nighty unless instructions are to do a full wipe, you should be able to get away with just wiping cache and dalvik in recovery then flash the nightly build.

Take a full backup first just in case.

How did the TB restore actually fail? It's never let me down so that's odd unless backups got corrupted in some way. You did just select the option to restore missing apps? Never a good idea to restore anything system related (red items) as it inevitably causes issues.

Or u just use the updater in settings
Also my tb once failed also. I put my backup location to /sdcard/titanium and its good now
