Root [International] Rooting fron linux?

Is there a way of rooting S3 (GT-I9300 running 4.3) with from a PC running linux (in my case Ubuntu 12.04 LTS)? I don't have easy access to a PC running Window$; all the machines which I have run linux exclusively, and don't even have windows partitions on them.

I've used it with SUSE13.1 had to play around with some missing Lib dependencies, but I got there in the end.
