Root [International Tegra 3] Help - Boot Loop after ROM install - MIUI

Hi

I hope someone can help.

Was on an old version of MIUI, and I tried to install a new version. Now my phone is confused.

These are the steps I followed:

• Download 4.1.3（V5） from MIUI Official English Site - Redefining Android
• Copy it to the root folder of my phone
• Unzip it into a folder on my computer, remove the 'boot' image and put it in my platform-tools folder where fastboot is
• Open a cmd window in this folder, fastboot flash boot image
• Reboot into CWM recovery, factory reset, format /system, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache
• Install rom from SD card
• Installs ok
• Reboot system now

My phone turns on, shows the 'HTC quietly brilliant' screen, then shows the OLD miui boot screen, it hangs there for a couple of minutes, then turns off and reboots back to the 'HTC quietly brilliant' screen. Repeat ad infinitum.

I have tried this with a few different MIUI roms but the same symptoms occur.


I have tried restoring my phone to an old (good) nandroid backup, but that didn't work either. I just got a black screen.


Can anybody help? I would like to keep miui if poss but will go back to stock if it's the only option.
