Root [International Tegra 3] Help Regarding Unrooting

Hi Guys.
I've unrooted my htc one x successfully and had no issues. so my friend also came to me and asked me to unroot his htc one x.

all was doing well.
flashed stock recovery, locked boot loader

downloaded correct RUU ( VODAFONE_UK 1.28)
clicked on the setup, everything was going smooth until i confronted an eroor

[Error 140] : Bootloader version error.

i was searching for it. but cudnt find it.
i hope u guys can help me out

I'm sure Mike from ARHD said without S-OFF, you can only flash the RUU of the software version the phone shipped with? Have you tried that?

i actually did that.
the thing is he updated is HOX to 1.29.163.13 ( official update)
he then rooted, installed ARHD. now he wanted to unroot it completely.

However the RUU that is available is for 1.28.
I read on XDA that once u updated, u cant go back to the previous Rom.
 
i m curious to see if this is resolved?
cause i dont think i backed up my original RUU too..
that is if i ever needed to go back

problem isnt resolved,
i posted on XDA and found out that i need 1.29 RUU for Vodafone. and it hasnt been leaked yet, so i've to wait it patiently or i can pay 13 euro to purchase it.
 
hi guys i have the same problem and im stock now with the bootloader mode only
and i cant flash the RUU for my One X even thou i am sure that i have the wright version
because i have a back up of my stock ROM on my desktop .
pleas advise me i really need help .
