im very new to the android scene after i give up my iphone.
i have some newbie questions and i hope you'd be patient for me.

Im using HTC one X and i saw a post somewhere that i can change the theme of my phone. Here's the link

[ROM][14/08/12][JDR0iD]eXoSENSE | SeNSe 4.1|SeNSe/NoSeNSe|YoU DeCiDe| - xda-developers

according to the instructions

Download Rom & extract boot.img from the rom
'fastboot flash boot boot.img' from within the rom via fastboot
Perform a full wipe (including /system)
Install Rom from root of SD Card

Reboot - and Set up!

the bold part are the things i dont quite understand. can someone please guide me

If you follow all this steps carefully ... I am sure it will be a piece of cake for you.
make sure you download all the resources needed for rooting, and watch few videos before actually doing it.

PS - To the Admin. I do not know if i am allowed to post links to other site, If so than I apologize :)

thanks for the link, i manage to root my HTC ONE X :D

the instructions says i need to install titanium backup for recovery. why do i need that for? do i need that just to let me be informed that i have root access?

and there's this tab where there's a hundred lists of apps where i can backup them. in what situation would i want to make backups for my apps? isn't the play store linked to my gmail account does that already?

thanks :)

You need to install titanium to backup your apps and associated data. Your apps are linked to your market account and will redownload themselves after a successful flash, but you'll lose the data & settings associated with them. Titanium backups up that data.
